Asteroid AP612 moves between dance, theater, and audiovisual media to compose a cosmic tale where the immensity of the universe is, paradoxically, too small to contain the Other. Inspired by The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the performance takes the figures of "grown-ups" as a starting point to reflect on contemporary adults and the persistence of authoritarian forces incapable of dealing with difference. Between creation and destruction, fantasy and power, the work imagines fascism as an excessively "adultified" subjectivity that devours everything it does not recognize as a mirror of itself.

The scene unfolds within an open geodesic dome, inspired by planetarium architecture—a small asteroid half-buried in the theatrical space. Through its opening, the audience glimpses projected images of worlds that seem to fit on their fingertips and within their belly buttons, while simultaneously witnessing the existence of the being that inhabits it. Embodied by Ana Flávia Garcia, this hybrid body—between astronaut, child, animal, and despot—destroys worlds with the same ease as someone munching on popcorn , transforming minimal gestures into events of cosmic scale .

Asteroid AP612 is dedicated to children of various decades and proposes a meditation on the danger of a world in which everyone believes themselves to be the center of the universe. Just as in Exupéry's book, the essential remains invisible to the eyes —and it is precisely in this invisibility that the piece situates its political and poetic force. Delicately, it invites us to recognize the baobab seeds that inhabit both within and outside of us, reminding us that no one is ever safe from feeling their own belly button as the measure of all things.
